Last month, AT&T released the very first American Football helmet with 5G connectivity, designed especially for the hearing impaired. Up-and-coming American artist Amira Unplugged, who herself is hearing impaired, provided the soundtrack for the advertisement and sang the iconic Simon and Garfunkel song ‘Sound Of Silence’.

Tems – Me & U
“Me & U” is the new single by Tems, the Nigerian singer and emerging producer with a unique sound that blends alternative R&B and neo-soul genres. In 2022, she was featured in an advertisement for the launch of Coke Studio.

Omar Apollo – Live For Me
Last month, Omar Apollo released a new EP consisting of four songs. Since the song ‘Evergreen’ went viral, he has embarked on multiple successful tours and performed at events such as Coachella, Good Morning America, and NPR’s Tiny Desk series. You could catch him this year in the Buchanan’s Pineapple commercial.

Majid Jordan – Hands Tied
The latest single from the R&B duo Majid Jordan dropped last month. In 2022, they collaborated with Asics for their “Always In Motion” campaign. Catch them live on February 13 at the Melkweg in Amsterdam.

Sufjan Stevens – A Running Start
This American singer-songwriter has not gone unnoticed by filmmakers. He wrote ‘Mystery of Love’ and ‘Visions of Gideon’ specifically for the film “Call Me By Your Name”. His tunes have  also popped up in various TV shows, including “This is Us,” “Bridgerton,” “The Bear,” and many others. Last month, he released a new album featuring the track “A Running Start.”
