Maik Cox

Maik’s musical journey began with nine years of intensive education in classical percussion, which extended into performing with a Dutch orchestra. By 23, he graduated from the Pop Academy as a composer, equipped with a distinctive blend of classical training and modern composition techniques.

As a DJ, Maik has electrified audiences in over 1,500 shows across The Netherlands and Europe, while his music has garnered over 25 million streams. Behind the scenes, as a ghost-producer, he has crafted music for various artists and worked with top-tier labels like Universal, Sony, and Spinnin Records, achieving multiple successes.

Over the past five years at Amp.Amsterdam, Maik has shifted his focus to composing and producing music for film, extending his expertise in Sonic Branding. His contributions have played a key role in multiple award-winning projects in recent years
