BOL.COM - DE WINKEL VAN NIKS VERGETEN

For their latest summer campaign, we provided our friends at Dept & bol.com with some authentic Thai music. For this short but sweet commercial we kicked-off by conducting research into South-East Asian music styles, and ended up choosing Molam music as our source of inspiration. The result? A (short) underscore and the iconic bol.com sound logo both played with traditional instruments and recorded in Thailand!

Albert Heijn - 'Top Insecten'

Music Composition, Sound Design for games, AR

What’s bugging you?

Spring is in the air and we’re buzzzinnnngg with creativity here at Amp.Amsterdam! For our friends at &Samhoud and Albert Heijn we did foley of each little wing, jaw, antenna, and the paws of about 40 insects for their latest insect safari app. Our music compositions, voice-overs by Dr. Freek Vonk, ambiances, UI sounds, SFX all contribute to a fun AR environment, chock full of insects aimed to teach children about the importance of these little bugs.

In our brand new in-house studios smack in the heart of Amsterdam, on Stadhouderskade 1 we brought this piece to life with our skilled audio post production team.

Sennheiser - 'Momentum Challenge'

To prove how good the new Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless earbuds are, listeners were given one simple request: don’t respond to music while you listen to the new earbuds.

Contesters could win the earbuds if they were able to retain their emotions. Based on extensive research Amp.Amsterdam designed a binaural soundscape containing musical elements and sound design to put through these amazing new earphones. Together with Ogilvy we did everything in our power to trigger emotions.

Facial recognition technology was ready to detect the slightest responses, Those who thought winning the earbuds would be easy, were in for a surprise. More than 400 people participated and only two earbuds were won. Proving that even wireless sound and music can move almost anyone.
