THE WAY YOU TAKE TIME - JOE BUCK

This week is kicked off with the "feel good" masterpiece of Joe Buck. You can recognize the song from the new PLUS (Dutch supermarket) advertising campaign. The soft chords of Joe's guitar build up the poppy country song and the sweet voice of Joe emphasizes to take good care of each other.

SPRING - TOM ROSENTHAL

Tom Rosenthal is not your everyday singer-songwriter. It's refreshing to hear a songwriter play, with such craft and focus, music oblivious to current trends. ‘Spring' is a quirky song with a minimalistic composition which makes it a rather unique tune. The song is about as far as an often-comical, mop-topped kid with an acoustic guitar can get from whatever they're calling "anti-folk" this year.

SUMMER DAYS - MARTIN GARRIX, MACKLEMORE, PATRICK STUMP

In 'Summer Days’ Martin Garrix once again shows how versatile he is as a musician. 'Summer Days' is a song that is bursting with groovy bass lines and drum patterns. Together with vocal support from Macklemore and Patrick Stump (from Fall Out Boy), the young Dutchman delivers another wonderful summer track.

SEX AND THE SUBURBS - THE RHYTHM METHOD

The London duo The Rhythm Method have released the first single from their upcoming album. 'Sex And The Suburbs' is full of blasting trumpets, rhythmic kick drumsand cheerful synthesizers, the complete spring package to get home.

ANGEL - LOYLE CARNER, TOM MISCH

Loyle Carner nowadays finds his outlet in wonderfully soft soul. Together with the talented Tom Misch, best known for his hit album “Geography", Loyle worked on what may become the summer soundtrack for many. Unmistakably Loyle, the song being a straight-up love letter to his “French Vanilla butter pecan”, it’s drenched in soul and Misch’s smooth pipes along with buttery synths and a funky bassline.

BETTER - TELYKAST, ALY RYAN

TELYKast are looking to continue their surge across the electronic music realm. After reaching over 1 million streams on Spotify with their song ’Talk Again’ they are now releasing ‘Better’, which features the vocals of pop singer Aly Ryan. ‘Better' is a beautiful blend of organic and electronic instrumentation that lays out the musical foundation for the vocalists proclaiming self-love and motivation.
